Respite with Linda is your home away from home.
Our overnight and weekend respite care gives parents and children a break from their usual routine. As a registered NDIS provider, our respite accommodation invites you to recharge the batteries for a new week ahead. Children will enjoy a new place to play and discover the world around them, while parents and carers can take a much-needed break.
We all know it takes a village to raise a child. At Respite with Linda, we believe it takes a village to support a parent, too.
We offer a sanctuary where children and teens with disabilities have a great time making new friends, watching movies and going on exciting excursions, all in a happy, safe, comfortable and NDIS goal-driven home environment.
Our son has been going each month for about 8 months and he loves going. He makes friends and has a great time. Linda provides a wonderful program for the kids so there is endless fun and activities.She supports our son with his NDIS goals. My husband and I can relax knowing that our son is having a wonderful time and being looked after so well. We are able to recharge our batteries so that we can be the parents that our son needs us to be to support him with all his challenges in life. Without Linda and her team, I don't know how we would all cope. Thank you so much.

This weekend we rode through creeks and countryside at Cedarvale Park before testing our balance, bravery, and teamwork at Flipside Circus—two adventures full of fun and skill-building.
This week’s adventures took us from the stars to the farmyard!
We explored the Brisbane night sky at the Planetarium and met some very curious creatures at White Ridge Farm. .
From fairy gardens and cheeky kookaburras to Star Wars-inspired ceramics, our weekend was packed with wonder and creativity.

| This weekend had it all! We kicked off with pottery painting at The Craft Haven, followed by endless fun at the Scarborough Jumping Pillow. In the evening, we celebrated a milestone birthday. Our first weekend of respite care for 2025 was filled with fun, laughter, and new friendships. The highlights included outings to the Pink Flamingo Circus Fun House and a movie, which everyone thoroughly enjoyed. Back at RWL home base, the children stayed busy with Lego and Magnetix block building, drawing, colouring, and Little People play. It was a weekend full of creativity, connection, and great memories!
Our weekend was full of fun and activity. We visited The Craft Haven to paint ceramic pottery, attended a special Christmas party at Sea Life and went to the movies on Sunday.

We're excited to release our latest Adventure Blueprint. There are adventures and outings for everyone.
We had an exciting and busy weekend with a trip to QPAC to see "Wicked the Musical" on Saturday and a fun and refreshing swim and slide at Albany Creek on Sunday. Throw in some cooking activities and painting with paint pens and a friendly bunch of kids, it is easy to see our weekend was a blast!

This weekend we were artists at our Paint n' Sip session and then tried out being Surfers in the glorious sunshine!

The weather kept us on our toes this weekend but we still got to do both of our special planned outings, fishing and painting!
