We take the safety and security of our home and our guests very seriously.
All windows and doors have security screens, and the security doors are key-locked.
We use an electronic safe for the storage of medication.
Windows and glass below 750 mm high are safety glass or safety film treated and all blind and curtain cords
are secured to the window frames. We also have wall mounted / fixed televisions, and all kitchen appliances and equipment are stored
safely.
Our hot water is set at 45 degrees Celsius, in accordance with NDIS guidelines.
All chemicals and cleaning products are kept in locked cupboards.
We have interconnected photoelectric smoke alarms installed and routinely maintained throughout the
house.
From a housekeeping perspective, we service our airconditioning units annually, and they are cleaned
regularly. Along with regular pest inspections, a professional cleaning service is used to clean, disinfect, and maintain our home
each week.
All staff have current WWCC Suitability Registrations and NDIS Worker Screening Checks.
Evacuation plans are in place, and periodical drills are conducted with all children. We repeat this process
to ensure they are aware of procedures in case of emergencies.
