Frequently Asked Questions about NDIS Respite Care

Welcome

If you're here looking for respite for your child - and a little for yourself, too - you've come to the right place. While we exist to give young people an adventure-filled weekend among new friends, we also recognise the opportunity a respite weekend gives parents and carers.

Many parents we meet report feeling overwhelmed, burnt out, or guilty about the fact they can't do it all. We knew it was not easy, so we started Respite with Linda. We provide a fun and enjoyable weekend for your child in our family home so that you can relax and take care of yourself - important events that fall by the wayside when life is busy.

At Respite with Linda, we aim to make respite care a win-win situation for everyone!

The Benefits of Respite Care

FOR YOU

Parents get some time for self-care. Children get to have a weekend of fun and adventure away from their daily routine.

FOR US

We get to enjoy the company of some very special people who touch our hearts every weekend.

In the spirit of reconciliation, Respite with Linda acknowledges Country and the traditional Custodians of the land, seas and waterways where we live, work and play.

Respite with Linda and all its staff respect local Kabi Kabi, Jinibara and Turrbal Aboriginal elders, past and present and their continued determination to keep culture alive and strong.
