This weekend we rode through creeks and countryside at Cedarvale Park before testing our balance, bravery, and teamwork at Flipside Circus—two adventures full of fun and skill-building.


This week’s adventures took us from the stars to the farmyard!
We explored the Brisbane night sky at the Planetarium and met some very curious creatures at White Ridge Farm. .

From building and painting to baking and farmyard exploring, our weekend was packed with hands-on fun! We got creative, cooked up delicious treats, and enjoyed a visit to White Ridge Farm, complete with animal feeding and tractor rides. Stay tuned for all the details!

This weekend had it all! We kicked off with pottery painting at The Craft Haven, followed by endless fun at the Scarborough Jumping Pillow. In the evening, we celebrated a milestone birthday. On Sunday we headed out to explore the stunning Tinchi Tamba Wetlands and enjoy some splashing fun in the sun. Creativity, adventure, and celebrations—a truly unforgettable weekend! 🎨🎉🌿🌿


Our first weekend of respite care for 2025 was filled with fun, laughter, and new friendships. The highlights included outings to the Pink Flamingo Circus Fun House and a movie, which everyone thoroughly enjoyed. Back at RWL home base, the children stayed busy with Lego and Magnetix block building, drawing, colouring, and Little People play. It was a weekend full of creativity, connection, and great memories!


In the spirit of reconciliation, Respite with Linda acknowledges Country and the traditional Custodians of the land, seas and waterways where we live, work and play.

Respite with Linda and all its staff respect local Kabi Kabi, Jinibara and Turrbal Aboriginal elders, past and present and their continued determination to keep culture alive and strong.
