CHILLED SATURDAY FUN

Saturday morning was a delightful and chilled experience with a refreshing change of pace. We enjoyed a mix of indoor and outdoor activities, with some kids engrossed in video games while others played word games and coloured creatively. Wanting to embrace the beautiful weather, we headed outdoors, transforming our cul-de-sac into a mini sports arena. The children's endless enthusiasm filled the air as they played basketball, soccer, and zoomed on scooters up and down the driveway. Their impressive skills and teamwork earned cheers of encouragement. It was a day filled with laughter, excitement, and boundless energy.

As the day progressed, baking was the next activity. With dietary restrictions in mind, we embarked on a mission to find a recipe everyone could enjoy, and the challenge of making it dairy-free became our primary focus. Fortunately, one of our crew members came to the rescue, armed with a recipe that was not only dairy-free but also egg and nut-free.

A DAY AT THE MOVIES & CREEC PLAYGROUND

We treated the children to a movie day on Sunday, presenting them with two exciting options. After watching the trailers, they enthusiastically picked "Spiderman - Across the Spider-verse." The theatre was filled with anticipation as they settled down with popcorn, ready for an action-packed adventure.

The film delivered on its promise, captivating young and old alike with its stunning animation and thrilling storyline. For lunch, we enjoyed McDonald's before heading to our next destination, the CREEC All Abilities Playground at Burpengary. The kids climbed, swung, and zoomed down slides, their laughter echoing throughout the area. It was a day filled with fun.
